OFTAlacrim is a medical device for ophthalmic use consisting of a sterile, viscous, slightly hypotonic saline solution with physiological pH, preservative-free and phosphate-free, based on hyaluronic acid and distilled Hamamelis water.
The high concentration of hyaluronic acid provides enhanced hydration to the eye and, in cases of tear film imbalance, helps restore its natural equilibrium.
Oftalacrim is recommended to protect and hydrate the ocular surface in cases of redness, burning, and eye fatigue due to:
- Dry eye syndrome;
- Environmental stress (dust, allergens, smoke, air conditioning, and pollution);
- Visual strain caused by prolonged exposure to electronic devices (computers, television, screens), intensive studying, and prolonged driving.
